Business Across Cultures Module
The business across cultures module is designed to give students a deeper understanding of international business. It covers terms, concepts, methodologies, and applications. The course also helps participants learn about the current issues and debates in business, as well as recent developments and solutions. Students will also learn how to assess their understanding of the issues.
Exam for business across cultures module
In this module, students develop their understanding of the theoretical and practical dimensions of business across cultures. They gain insights into the cultural dimensions of management, communication and decision-making. They also develop presentation and analytical skills. They develop their learning strategies in consultation with their module tutor. They receive verbal feedback during class sessions on case studies and informal presentations, as well as formative feedback through seminars and project work.
The exam for this module covers all the content from the course. However, students should not attempt it unless they have a thorough understanding of the case studies. The exam is 1.5 hours long and is divided into multiple-choice questions (20%), short open-ended questions (50%) and one or two case studies or scenario analyses (30%).
Assessment strategy for business across cultures module
This module aims to develop students’ understanding of cultures and their impact on business and marketing. It introduces students to the different levels of cultural complexity, how to deal with cultural differences and how to develop successful marketing campaigns in different cultural settings. Students will also learn how to conduct business in a foreign country.
